September 2025 • Group-Trip Party

My boyfriend and I are visiting Austin for the week and after many Google searches, decided on Jacoby's for Sunday Brunch. I could not have been more impressed! The restaurant itself is darling and the back patio area is very spacious. We sat down and were greeted by our very friendly server within minutes. I started with a Bloody Mary and we shared the Scones - cornbread and maple pecan. The Bloody was one of the best I've EVER had, perfect spice level! The scones were crumbly and hot. For main courses we had the Smoked Chicken Migas and Chicken Fried Steak and Waffles. Both dishes were absolutely phenomenal! We also shared the Manchego Tots and were extremely pleased with those as well. Some of the best brunch food we've had in a very long time. We will definitely be back on future trips to Austin and highly recommend it to anyone!

Couldn't think of a better place for a bachelor party. Seriously. This place is authentically Austin in every way. We were all visiting from out of town and by FAR this was our favorite meal in Austin. Service, Design, and Food and Drinks were amazing some of the best I've ever had. Would definitely recommend 100% Don't skip the chicken fried steak with beef from their family ranch or their out of this world bourbon and whiskey selection.

July 2025 • Bachelorette Party

Ummmmm where do I even start... The service? The food? The drinks? or the CUTEST little mercantile store attached to this restaurant. We celebrated a friends Bachelorette here and it was a 10 out of 10 experience for everyone visiting from out of town (Most of us form Nashville and New York) From the very beginning the host was kind, the server was amazing, and we had the best food a drinks we had our entire trip in Austin. Also the design of the place is super cute rustic modern and the restaurant is actually on the Colorado River so we had our drinks overlooking the river during sunset! Would definitely recommend!

I had no idea this place had such a wonderful patio and lovely riverside ambiance. We did a whole food tour for my husband's birthday week and this was on our burger stop list. He loved it. I was impressed by the vegetarian friendly options too and came back stuffed from an excellent meal. The place is charming, service is great, definitely recommend for a date night, special occasion or to impress out-of-town guests.

Brunched at Jacoby's and what a wonderful experience! The service was great and I cannot rave enough about how good the food was. There was a group of 4 of us. We sat on their back patio which seemed to easily accommodate groups. We shared the large pitcher size of mimosas. We were told this yield 2 drinks per person but this was easily 3 drinks per. The pitcher was very cute. We shared the smoked chicken migas, chicken fried steak and Waffles, tater tots and strawberry cake. All were very good!! The gravy with the chicken fried steak was just creamy goodness. The star of the show for me was the strawberry cake. It was the best I've had. You could easily tell real strawberries were used in the batter and the icing! There were a few crafty type items like jewelry, candles, and even replicas of the same pitchers used for the mimosas available for purchase. Really loved this place.

One of the best restaurants in Austin for both brunch and dinner! For dinner, you can't go wrong with the Mac and cheese or veggie burger. Their happy hour deals are phenomenal too! For brunch, the quiche and pancakes are always a good choice but you have to get the strawberry cake! Worth every penny. Environment is beautiful and the patio is amazing. They have the cutest little store in front with jewelry and dishes, too. Staff is always extremely nice and friendly.

We had such an amazing experience at Jacoby's tonight. We always sit at the bar (creatures of habit), and as usual, the service was nothing short of fantastic. Let me just say this: we've always loved Jacoby's. It's one of Austin's true gems. But tonight? Tonight was next level. When a place shines like this, people deserve to know. The drinks? Fabulous. No notes. Crafted perfectly--balanced, creative, and delicious. Everything we ordered was top notch, but the undeniable star of the show was the chicken fried chicken. OMG. A 12/10. Absolute perfection. Crispy, juicy, flavorful--just... wow. I could talk about it forever. In a city full of spots trying way too hard to sell their vibe, Jacoby's is the real deal. The ambiance is warm and inviting, the space is thoughtfully curated, the staff are kind and attentive, and the food is true to its roots--no gimmicks, just incredibly well-executed dishes that over-deliver every time. We left so full and so happy. What a delicious dinner and a memorable experience. Jacoby's, you nailed it

What a wonderfully surprising meal I had at Jacoby's! This unassuming little spot is tucked in between large buildings and s almost feels like an afterthought, but don't let it fool you. The inside is cozy and welcoming and almost feels like you've landed in someone's parlor The staff was friendly and helpful, even giving me a place to stow my luggage as I came right from the airport. "We don't want you to be crowded at your table" the hostess said. The food and drink were both homey and refined. The flavors had an upscale sensibility coming from traditionally down-home dishes. I had the meatloaf and the strawberry cake, the matriarchs recipe, and now I'm disappointed I did t try the pimento cheese too! If you're in Austin I would wholeheartedly recommend you check Jacobys out.

I thought I'd been to every famous brunch spot in Austin already, but my friend booked Jacoby's today for his going away meal, and it was such a wonderful experience from start to finish. The hostess initially sat us on the lower level of the patio, but I felt like it was more lively on the actual patio so I asked to move, and she was able to oblige almost immediately. Such great service! Our waiter was so sweet and awesome. I told him it was our friend's farewell brunch, and he brought out a really nice strawberry cupcake at the end. I honestly think the brunch food is really solid. I do love brunch but find that I don't have a strong opinion of most brunch plates I order, but today, I felt bad for wanting to eat every single bit of my chicken fried steak and waffles. I don't normally love chicken and steak because fried chicken is so heavy, but I absolutely love that they sub chicken fried steak as the main protein and also offer delicious gravy with sausage. The hardest decision is what to order for brunch--savory or sweet? For once, I was so satisfied because the gravy and sausage were savory but the maple syrup with the waffle was sweet. I tried some of my friends' steak and eggs and brisket benny, and both were also very delicious. Everything was super well cooked. My three friends and I also shared a carafe mimosa, and it was pretty strong. Not badly priced either for two full bottles of champagne. Service was on par--shoutout to our waiter! From the hostess to a staff member who took our photos..Jacoby's is definitely up there on my favorite brunch spots. I will be back!!!
