What if I've never paddle-boarded before?

No problem! Before paddling out, we'll give you a few simple instructions along with modifications to ensure that you're comfortable on the board. You can always do the whole class from your knees!

What if I've never done yoga before?

Don't worry, our classes are fun and designed for all levels! Your safety is of the utmost importance, so be assured that you'll always receive clear and guided instructions as we move in and out of the poses.

What kind of clothing should I wear?

It’s always best to dress in layers as the mornings can often be cool, but typically warm up at the start of class. Yoga clothes are recommended. Check the weather and be sure to dress accordingly.

Will I get wet doing SUP Yoga?

Chances are slim that you'll get submerged, but you may get a little wet as you move in and out of poses.

What if I need to cancel a SUP Yoga class?

Please note a 12-hour cancellation notice is required and must be done in writing to supyoga@floatingyogis.com. "No-shows" and those who do not cancel up to 12 hours prior to class will be charged in full. NO REFUNDS OR CREDITS WILL BE GIVEN.

We're mindful of your time set aside for SUP Yoga, so please arrive 15 minutes early. We promptly paddle out at the time scheduled. Please note that there are no refunds for missed classes.

Do you ever cancel classes due to the weather?

Yes, we do cancel classes when there is a threat of heavy rains, and if the winds are 8 mph or stronger. Strong winds can not only be dangerous but will make your SUP yoga experience very unpleasant. :) Please note that we are always watching the weather, and at our discretion, can cancel the class within 24 hours if any of these weather conditions are forecasted.

I've wanted to try SUP for so long and I'm a yogi so this was the perfect experience for me and it lived up to my expectations!! I had such an enjoyable yoga class and I didn't fall in the water! It was so peaceful and relaxing doing yoga on the water in this beautiful setting. The instructor is top-notch and makes the whole experience easy. Will definitely be going back and highly recommend this. I feel so fortunate to have this available.

I finally took my first SUP Yoga class with Katie this week! I did the BYOB option and rented an anchor but you can just show up and hop on a board if you do not have your own. It was an absolute blast! This is great for beginners or advanced yogis and does not matter if you have ever done stand up paddle boarding. I highly recommend trying it out. It was so refreshing doing down dog and shavasana on the water and feeling like I was enveloped in the universe!I am certainly making Floating Yogis a part of my self care routine! Thank you, Katie for an epic experience!

The floating yogis are AMAZING. My daughter participated in a paddleboard-yoga camp and it was the best part for her summer. She is still raving about it. Marci and Sarah make it fun and challenging. I highly recommend it.

This was such a fun experience! I own a SUP and am a certified yoga teacher so combining the two was great! The teachers were so nice and helpful to my friend and I as first timers. Their sequence they taught was great and really challenging but having different layers to the poses helps. I would definitely recommend trying this, I can't wait to do it again!

This was awesome and Marci was amazing leading our group! I have to say I have done a lot of different yoga but nothing like this! It was very magical and calming! The water added an extra element of nature and connection while the paddleboard added more focus and groundedness! Highly recommend!
